CLINICAL THERAPIST
You may be used to being the strong one—the person who stays in control, keeps moving forward, and manages everything on your own. But carrying that weight for too long can leave you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what to do next. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic stress, trauma, burnout, fatigue, or the emotional impact of a medical condition. Life transitions—including starting high school or college, moving, changing careers, losing a job, navigating relationship changes, retiring, or grieving a loss—can also make it difficult to feel grounded.
You do not have to work through these challenges alone. I offer individual therapy for adolescents, adults, and seniors, both in person and online. As a person-centered counselor, I provide a supportive space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin making sense of what you are carrying. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, help you recognize your strengths, gently challenge beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, and support you as you find a path forward that feels right for you.
I bring an authentic, calm, and grounded presence to therapy, shaped by 15 years of experience as a paramedic and my previous work as a teacher and outdoor guide. My approach is tailored to each person and may incorporate somatic interventions, mindfulness, experiential arts therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and trauma-informed care. I also offer walk-and-talk sessions for clients who feel more comfortable moving or spending time outside. The natural world can help calm the nervous system and create space for reflection, healing, and meaningful change. I warmly welcome LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC clients, and people from historically marginalized communities. If this approach resonates with you, I invite you to reach out.
